I am a wife. A mom. A gramma. A friend. A retired schoolteacher. A reader. A crafter. A rebel in some ways. I grew up in a time when women had almost assigned roles in the world. Couldn't major in the area I loved in college because "women don't do that. You wouldn't use it" It made me realize that the world had to change. I fell into teaching and loved it. But it was important to me to raise daughters who had strength, spirit and a sense of being able to do what they wanted to do. To follow their dreams. Watching my six grandchildren grow is my favorite thing now. There is a pretty blond 14 year old girl, a funny blond 11 year old boy, a sassy 6 year old redheaded princess, a sweet 4 year old boy, darling toddler girl, and a new sweet baby girl.   They have my heart. They are my soul.
